STATEMENT

I have invested my entire professional life in education, as both a classroom teacher and administrator. I know firsthand the challenges facing today's educators and focus intently on meaningful ways to address these obstacles that represent a sound investment of our finite resources. I am very proud of the work of Fairfield Public Schools, but there is still a great deal of work to be done, with our facilities, our curriculum, and supporting our staff so that they can do their best work with our students. I believe my 12 years on the Board of Education have proven that I am interested in working with all stakeholders, with all elected officials, and most importantly, in a collaborative and productive fashion with FPS staff and my fellow BoE members. Our work is too important to ever lose focus of the Mission and Goals of the District.
